Junior Golf Clubs

Junior golf clubs are designed primarily for kids. There was a time when the only option for kids and teenagers wanting to play golf was to cut down an existing set of clubs. However, this is no longer the case.

The shaft length is the most important part of a set of junior golf clubs. As a general rule, they tend to be shorter to accommodate the shorter stature of young players. But because kids tend to grow rapidly, many experts recommend purchasing a set that is a bit too long and choking up on the grip until they child grows into the set.

Shaft flex is another important aspect to consider when buying junior golf clubs. A shaft that is too stiff makes it very difficult for young players to get under the ball, thereby giving the shot some height.  A light club with an appropriate amount of flex is a much better option for a child.
