Ladies golf clubs are much like those for the men’s game, at first glance. However, there are a few differences in basic design. For one, most ladies clubs utilize a shorter shaft. This is because, as a general rule, women tend to be shorter than men, and thus need a shorter club. Secondly, most ladies clubs use shafts that have more flex than do men’s clubs. This extra flex is meant to compensate for (again we’re generalizing) men being able to swing harder than most women.
